The Tenda AC 23 is a dual-band, gigabit Wi-Fi router designed for high-speed Internet access. It supports 802.11ac wave2 technology and guarantees Wi-Fi speeds of up to 2033Mbps: 300Mbps in the 2.4GHz band and 1733Mbps in the 5GHz band. With 4x4 MU-MIMO technology in the 5GHz band, Wi-Fi coverage and access speed is increased compared to conventional routers with 3x3 MU-MIMO technology. With all gigabit ports, wired access speeds of up to 1000Mbps can be achieved. The 1GHz processor and 500MHz coprocessor, built with 28nm dual-core technology, provide higher processing speed and optimize the overall hardware performance. Equipped with 7 external 6dBi omnidirectional antennas, the AC23 is unmatched in its performance and ability to transmit through walls.
The Tenda AC23 runs on chips from Realtek. Specifically: the main SoC is a dual-core Realtek RTL8197FH-VG processor clocked at 1 GHz, which also has support for the 2.4 GHz band. In turn, the RTL8814BR chip is responsible for 5 GHz, which also includes a 500 MHz coprocessor. The task of this additional component is to support the RTL8814BR in processing traffic in the 5 GHz band. All of these elements allow the router to operate at maximum speed, without delay, and support a maximum number of devices.
TheTenda AC23 router has 7 external antennas with 6 dBi gain, which allows to reach maximum data transfer rate of 1733 Mbps for 5 GHz network and 300 Mbps for 2.4 GHz network. Both networks can be combined into one, which is a big plus. The Tenda AC23 offers 4×4 MU-MIMO technology for the 5 GHz band. It provides greater Wi-Fi coverage and speed than 3×3 MU-MIMO routers. The large number of antennas and the ability to rotate them allows for a stable Wi-Fi signal over long distances.
The Tenda AC23 router has 1 WAN port with 1000 Mbps speed and 3 LAN ports with the same 1000 Mbps speed. With these features, you can easily create a high-speed wired home network. Even your ISP will be able to give you a maximum speed of 1 Gbps and you will be able to watch 4K quality videos.
