Ubiquiti AM-5AC21-60 | Sector antenna | airMAX, 5GHz, 21dBi

The next generation of 2x2 MIMO sector antennas from Ubiquiti Inc., airMAX ac sector antennas have better scalability, interference isolation and beam performance. For best performance, connect the antenna with a Rocket radio. Antennas are also compatible with RocketM5 models. However, AC operation requires Rocket5ac. The Ubiquiti antenna operates at 5GHz which allows for fast communication.
Sector antennas are very resistant to interference. The innovative deflector design with lowered side and back leaves reject interference from other transmitters in the vicinity potentially on the same tower.
The signal-to-noise ratio (S/N or SNR) has been improved, it is possible to use higher order modulation, for example 256QAM instead of 16QAM. This increases the number of bits per second for a band with constant data rate.
Due to its innovative design, AirMax Sector ac provides higher profit and high performance. The airMAX ac antennas are designed for outdoor applications. Antennas are designed to reject interference and provide increased scalability, higher gain and high beam performance in PTMP networks. They use AirMax technology to provide high performance and power.
Every Ubiquiti airMAX ac sector antenna has a built-in Rocket handle, so no tools are needed to install the Rocket BaseStation.

Installation equipment | Pole bracket, RocketM mounting brackets, waterproof coaxial cable included |
1. Attach the Weatherproof RF Cables to the connectors labeled Chain 0 and Chain 1 on the Rocket.
2. Attach the Rocket to the Rocket Mount.
a. Align the mounting tabs on the back of the Rocket with
the four mounting slots on the mount.
b. Slide the Rocket down until it locks into place.
3. Connect the other ends of the Weatherproof RF Cables to the RF Connectors on the antenna.
4. Slide the Protective Shroud down over the Rocket until it locks onto the Rocket Mount.
5. Attach the U-Brackets to the antenna:
a. Secure the Slotted U-Bracket to the upper Mounting Lugs of the antenna using two Serrated Flange Nuts.
b. Secure the other U-Bracket to the lower Mounting Lugs of the antenna using two Serrated Flange Nuts.
6. Insert two Carriage Bolts into each Pole Bracket.
7. Attach each Pole Bracket to each U-Bracket using twoSerrated Flange Bolts. Hand-tighten the bolts.
8. To mount the antenna to the pole, slide a Pole Clamp over each pair of Carriage Bolts. Secure each Pole Clamp with two Serrated Flange Nuts.
9. The antenna has an electrical downtilt of 2°. To further adjust the elevation angle:
a. Loosen the four Serrated Flange Bolts on the U-Brackets and the two Serrated Flange Nuts on the upper Pole Clamp
b. Slide the antenna to the desired tilt. (The brackets may slide along the pole, depending on the angle of the elevation tilt.)
c. Tighten all bolts and nuts to approximately 25 N-m.
Yes.
