TP-LINK JetStream T2600G-18TS is a second layer switch equipped with 16 10/100/1000 Mbps ports and two gigabit SFP slots. The device guarantees high performance, advanced support for QoS functions, threat protection strategies and network management functions in layer 2 and 2+. The IP-MAC-Port-VID binding and access control lists (ACL, L2 to L4) protect the network against threats such as broadcast storm, ARP and DoS (Denial-of-Service) attacks. Quality of Service (QoS, L2 to L4) allows you to direct network traffic for smooth and faster data transmission. The switch can be managed via a user-friendly interface accessible via a web browser or via the CLI console or by using SNMP and RMON protocols. T2600G-18TS Switch also supports the Dual Image function, which ensures easy installation and configuration of settings with less downtime. The TP-LINK L2 T2600G-18TS Managed L2 T2600G-18TS switch is an ideal and cost-effective solution for workgroups and branches, wherever gigabit transmissions are required.
The T2600G-18TS supports Layer 2 switch functions, i.e. VLAN tagging (802.1Q), Port Mirroring, STP/ RSTP/ MSTP and LACP support, and data flow function (802.3x). The switch also supports advanced network security features such as loopback detection, cable diagnostics and IGMP Snooping, which allows switching of multicast frames for selected users only, while IGMP throttling & filtering restricts access to resources for individual users at port level. The T2600G-18TS also supports static routing to segment and improve network efficiency.
The T2600G-18TS supports many IPv6 features, including: dual IPv4/I Pv6 stack, MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, DHCPv6 Snooping, IPv6 Interface, PMTU Discovery and IPv6 Neighbor Discovery. Using the above features will allow the user to upgrade the network without having to replace the equipment. The device is managed through an intuitive graphical user interface in a web browser (GUI) or command line interface (CLI). Packet transfer can be protected by SSL or SSH encryption.
