High-end Gigabit Media Converter - TP-Link MC200CM

Media Converter MC200CM allows bi-directional conversion of 1000BASE-SX optical signal to a signal conducted with 1000Base-T copper cable. Working according to IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-SX standards, it uses multi-mode optical fiber with SC connectors. The MC200CM converter, according to the specification of short-wave SX optical transmission, provides fast speed of wired data transmission. The device receives and sends a 850 nm wavelength signal.

Free-standing converter with LED indicators

The converter can work as a free standalone device, it can also be installed in a 19' TP-LINK cabinet. The TX port has a automatic crossover function (Auto MDI/MDI-X). On the front panel there are LED indicators, which inform about the status of the device. The MC200CM converter, using multi-mode optical fiber, transmits an optical signal over a distance of 0.55 km.
