DGS-1210-28 is part of the latest generation of D-Link Web Smart switches. The switch is equipped with 24 ports 10/100/1000 Mbps and 4 ports 10/100/1000 SFP, DGS-1210-28 integrates advanced management and security features to increase performance and scalability. Management options include SNMP, web-based management, SmartConsole and a compact command line for easier deployment. The DES-1210-28 provides a complete and affordable solution that is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises.

Seamless integration

The DGS-1210-28 is equipped with Ethernet and Gigabit Copper ports, which allow for connection to existing Cat5 twisted pair cables. In addition, with 24 ports 10/100/1000 MB/s and 4 ports 1G SFP Switch provides a very flexible solution for server connections.

Advanced management and layer 2 functions

The switch is equipped with a full set of functions L2, DGS-1210-28 includes IGMP preview, port duplication, extension tree protocol and link aggregation protocol (LACP). The IEEE 802.3x flow control feature allows servers to connect directly to the switch for fast, reliable data transfer. At 2000 Mbps full duplex, the Gigabit ports ensure fast data transfer to the servers with minimal impact on data fidelity. Network maintenance features include loopback detection and cable diagnostics. Loop-back detection is used to detect loops created by a specific port and automatically disable that port. The cable diagnostics function is primarily intended for network administrators who can quickly detect errors and determine the quality of the cable, allowing for trouble-free diagnostics and maintenance.

QoS, capacity control

The DGS-1210-28 supports VLAN Auto Surveillance (ASV) and VLAN Auto Voice functions, which are ideal for video surveillance and VoIP deployment. VLAN Auto Surveillance is an industry-leading new technology that consolidates surveillance data transmissions with a single intelligent Internet switch. Saving thus companies the cost of dedicated equipment and devices. Auto Voice VLAN technology streamlines the VoIP service by automatically routing voice traffic from an IP phone to the assigned VLAN. With a higher priority and dedicated VLAN, these features guarantee the quality and security of VoIP traffic. In addition, DSCP markings on Ethernet packets allow you to assign different service levels to network traffic. As a result, these voice and video packets have priority over other packets.

DGS-1210-28 is equipped with D-Link Green technology, the device is able to save energy without losing efficiency and functionality. Switch reduces energy consumption by automatically switching the ports without switching them into sleep mode.
