DXS-3400-24SC is a top-notch 10-gigabit switch from the D-DXS-3400 series providing performance, security and multi-layer service (QoS). It includes rich software features to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses. The DXS-3400-24SC switch includes 20 10GBASE-T or 20x10G SFP + and 4 10GBASE-T / SFP+ combo ports, making it suitable for data center applications. The device supports a range of layer 2 and 3 functions, i.e.; VLAN, Multicasting, Quality of Service (QoS), Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP), Runt Information Protocol (RIP)

High availability and flexibility

The D-LINK DXS-3400-24SC switch is equipped with modular fans and power supplies for a high availability architecture. The hot-swappable fans and power supplies mean that they can be replaced regardless of switch operation. The physical and virtual arrangement of the switches allows them to be managed from a single IP address and provides redundancy of the connected devices. The Switch Resource Management (SRM) function allows you to resize the hardware table so that switch functions can be optimized for each application. The DXS 3400-24SC supports 3 modes - IP Mode, LAN Mode and L2 VPN Mode - that resize layer 2 and 3 tables for optimal device performance.

Layer 2 smart switches

Switch DXS-3400-24SC provides a full set of security features including multi-layer access control lists L2 / L3 / L4 and 802.1x user authentication via TACACS + and RADIUS servers. In addition, it offers suppression functions and static IPv4 / v6 layer 3 routing to increase network performance and security. D-Link's built-in 'ZoneDefense Technology allows companies to integrate a stack of switches with D-Link NetDefend firewalls to implement full protection of the proactive security architecture.

Energy-saving

The DXS-3400-24CSSwitch features a front-to-back airflow solution, making it easy to build energy-efficient data centers. The switch has built-in intelligent fans that monitor the ambient temperature, so the fans detect temperature changes and react accordingly, reducing energy consumption.
