The UAP-AC-SHD access point from Ubiquiti is an excellent solution that guarantees higher technological level of security. The UniFi OS Console can handle thousands of UniFi access points, map networks, quickly manage system traffic and add more UniFi access points. Take advantage of the UniFi SHD AP radio environment to detect and troubleshoot nearby interference, analyze radio frequencies, select the optimal deployment of access points and configure settings.
The initial 802.11ac Wave 1 SU-MIMO technology (Single-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) allows earlier generation APs, such as UniFi AC Pro, to communicate with only one client. 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology (Multi-User, Multiple Input, Multiple Output) allows to communicate with many clients at the same time, which significantly increases the bandwidth for many users and improves the comfort of network use. Assuming the same conditions, Wave 2 radio provides an improvement of up to 75% compared to Wave 1, increasing wireless performance and/or serving more clients at the same level of performance.
