EdgeSwitch has 12 SFP+ ports and four RJ45 10GBASE-T ports that effectively deliver and aggregate data at 10Gbps.
EdgeSwitch offers the ability to transfer data to process traffic on all ports simultaneously at line-rate without losing packets. It has a total, non-blocking bandwidth of up to 160 Gbps.
EdgeSwitch uses a powerful operating system that provides advanced switching functions, including VLAN tagging and link aggregation, and limited Layer 3 functionality, including static routing and DHCP server functionality.
The EdgeSwitch configuration interface, designed for convenient management, allows administrators to configure and monitor switching functions in a graphical interface. For advanced users, the command line interface (CLI) is available through the console port, telnet and SSH.
The metal case and included mounting brackets make it possible to mount the EdgeSwitch in a 19" rack.

1. Remove the protective cap covering the SFP+ port.
2. Connect the appropriate fiber optic module to the SFP+ port. 
3. Connect the fiber optic cable to the fiber module. Then connect the other end of the cable to another fiber optic device. 
4. Repeat steps 1-3 to connect additional SFP+ ports.
