Ubiquiti AP-5AC-90-HD | Sector antenna | airPRISM, 5GHz, 22dBi

Ubiquiti introduces an innovative point-to-multipoint (PTMP) airPrism Sector Antenna. The device operates in the 5GHz frequency band, which allows for stable transmission. The Ubiquiti airPrism sector antenna has improved noise isolation. Three radios can be installed at the top, middle and bottom of the airPrism antenna. Every radio transmits and receives independently within the corresponding 30° beam width.
The device is a sector antenna highly resistant to interference and noise, which is the advantage of airPrism, which provides excellent beam performance in terms of high-density areas for high-bandwidth multipoint networks.
Mounted on a single airPrism antenna, three rocket5ac prism devices maximize throughput with efficient use of the tower footprint, minimizing installation costs.
The airPrism and Rocket5ac are designed to work perfectly together. Each model of airPrism sector antennas from UI has three built-in brackets for mounting the Prism device, so the installation does not require special tools. Simply attach three Rocket5ac Prism devices and mount the antenna to the PTMP link.
The three Prism Rocket5ac radios are installed in the upper, middle and lower part of the UBNT airPrism antenna. Each radio independently transmits and receives the corresponding 30° beam width. Below are graphical diagrams of the range of each beam.

1. Press the port cover on the Rocket and slide it out.
2. Connect the Ethernet cable to the LAN port.
3. Put the port cover back on.
4. Secure the device to the mount.
a. Adjust the four mounting points on the back of the device to match the four sockets on the mount.
b. Slide the device down until it locks in place.
5. Connect the RF cables, V to Chain 1 and H to Chain 0.
6. Slide the protective cover on th Rocket until it locks in place.
7. Repeat steps 1-6 for the other two antennas.
8. Attach the U-Brackets to the antenna:
a. Secure the U-Bracket to the main mounting plate on the antenna using two screws with washers.
b. Secure the second U-Bracket to the lower mounting plate on the antenna using two screws.
9. Insert two holding screws to each bracket.
10. Attach a bracket to each U-Bracket using two screws, tighten them by hand only.
11. Secure the mounting kit to the pole.
a. Slide the holes on the pole brackets over each pair of screws.
b. Put a single nut on each holding screw.
c. Secure each nut with a single hex nut.
12. The antenna has a electrical tilt of 2°. In order to adjust the tilt further:
a. Loosen four hex screws on the brackets and the nuts on the upper pole bracket.
b. Slide the antenna to a desired tilt.
c. Tighten every screw to about 25 N-m and every nut to about 50 N-m or less in order to avoid deforming the pole.
