Does the UB400 support Mac and Linux?

The adapter only supports Windows operating system, where Win8 / 8.1 / 10 is plug and play, and XP / 7 require driver installation.

The distance without barriers is 30-40 meters. But this distance will decrease with wireless interference and various obstacles such as walls.

Typical wireless interference comes from 2.4G interference, including 2.4G Wi-Fi, USB 3.0 devices, microwave ovens, other Bluetooth devices, etc.

How to pair the PC and PS4 controller with the UB400?

In case of most Bluetooth devices, the computer can find them after successful installation of UB400. But if you want to pair your computer and the PS4 TM controller, you need to install the additional application RemotePlayInstaller.exe from Sony. Follow the steps below.

Before connecting the PS4 TM controller to a computer with UB400, read https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/lang/gb/index.html and make a preliminary configuration. Make sure you install RemotePlayInstaller.exe application for remote play.

Then follow these steps to pair the computer with the PS4 TM controller using the UB400.

For Windows 8 and above:
No need to install the Bluetooth driver manually. Insert the UB400 and pair the computer with the controller. Then follow the steps below.

1.) Double-click the Bluetooth icon in the menu.

2.) On Windows 8 / 8.1 skip this step. In Windows 10, click Add Bluetooth or other device to scan for a controller.

3.) Select a device from the list and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.
