The TP-Link TLWN821N network card is a WiFi USB Adapter connecting network devices with a wireless router. The TL-WN821N Wireless USB adapter allows you to connect your laptop or desktop computer to the wireless network and access a high-speed Internet connection. The adapter complies with the IEEE 802.11n standard and provides wireless speeds up to 300 Mbps, which is beneficial for online gaming and HD video streaming.
Thanks to MIMO technology, used in the TL-WN821N WiFi adapter, the device effectively limits signal losses caused by long distances or obstacles, e.g. steel or concrete walls of buildings. Whereas the Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) technology automatically eliminates channel conflicts, improving wireless network performance significantly.
The TL-WN821N network card provides WPA/WPA2 encryption, which effectively and efficiently protects our wireless network against external attacks. In addition, the TL-WN821N has Quick Security Setup, which allows users to set up security almost instantly by pressing QSS , automatically establishing a WPA2 secure connection, which provides greater security than WEP encryption. This is a much more convenient solution because we do not need to remember passwords.
The TL-WN821N comes with a CD that will help you complete the software installation and configure the wireless network settings, including security and wireless connection. The configuration is intuitive, even a novice user can handle it.
