The TL-SM321B-2 module is designed in accordance with the SFP-MSA standard. TL-SM321B-2 is a bi-directional optical WDM transceiver using an integrated bi-directional LC optical interface with a transmission range of up to 2 km over 9/125 µm single mode fiber.
The TL-SM321B-2 switch is also equipped with a digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) function in compliance with SFF-8472 standard. The DDM supports real-time monitoring of the transceiver and displays parameters such as transceiver transmit/receive optical signal voltage and operating temperature. In practice, TL-SM321B-2 is used in short and medium distance fiber networks, providing fast and stable gigabit fiber connection for switches, routers, servers, etc.
