MikroTik GPeR | LAN Accessory | 2x RJ45 1000Mb/s

EN
MikroTik GPeR allows you to extend the Ethernet cable by an additional stroke (< 100 - 150 m to ordinary network devices and up to 210 m to another GPeR unit) to 1500 m. Useful for tall, multi-apartment buildings with many floors and sections, where very long Ethernet cables can be a problem.
The maximum permitted length of the Ethernet cable CAT6 between GPeR and the power source/router is up to 100 m (depending on the quality of the cable, high quality - up to 150 m). The maximum allowed distance of the Ethernet cable CAT6 between two GPeR devices is up to 210 m (depending on the quality of the cable). In case the target device does not support PoE-in power supply, you can disable PoE Passthrough power supply by manually removing all jumpers.
Gigabit Passive Ethernet repeater is part of the new MicroTics concept called GPEN (Gigabit Passive Ethernet Network), which aims to replace GPON installations with cheaper and easier to implement . GPeR allows to connect customers to remote switches without the need for fibers. It also works perfectly well in other solutions - in regular radio networks, or when connecting IP(ip camera). Up to 7 GPeR devices can be used in one connection.

MikroTik RouterOS is the operating system of the router and software that allows the PC or Mikrotik RouterBoard to be a dedicated router.
PoE allows you to use a single cable for power and data transmission, saving you money on purchasing and dragging cables for network devices and VoiP phones.
