MikroTik CWDM-MUX8A | Splitter | MUX - DEMUX, 8 port

EN
MicroTik CWDM-MUX8A (CWDM) is a passive MUX/DEMUX unit that allows you to combine up to eight fiber optic links into one, to simplify and reduce the cost of fiber optic installations over long distances. In the second place, the connected line is split again, so instead of eight long fiber optic lines, one is enough. Coarse Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (CWDM) technology offers a solution that will increase the capacity of existing fiber optic infrastructure by allowing multiple channels/wavelengths to be used in the same fiber optic cabling and reduce the cost of deploying a new fiber.
Up to eight independent SFP 1.25 Gb/s (up to 40 km) or SFP+ 10 Gb/s (up to 10 km) links can be created using a single fiber optic cable, which is a more affordable alternative to installing more fibers or renting additional fibers. You can even use 1.25Gbps and 10Gbps modules simultaneously.

First of all, check if the ports on the device are SFP or SFP+ ports. The latter can operate at 10Gbps. Then make a choice regarding the fiber optic cable. Single mode fiber is usually used for longer distances, while multimode fiber is used for shorter distances.
The SFP RJ45 modules allow you to connect Ethernet cables to SFP sockets in network devices via a special insert equipped with an RJ45 port.
The module is compatible with CCR1072-1G-8S+, CCR1036 series, CCR1016-12S-1S+, CCR1009 series, CRS317-1G-16S+RM, CRS210-8G-2S+IN, CRS212-1G-10S-1S+IN, CRS326/CSS326 series, among others.
