The CCR1072 router is powered by a 72-core Tiler processor, each core is clocked to 1 GHz, and to take full advantage of this power the CCR1072 is equipped with eight independently connected 10G SFP+ ports and one Ethernet port for management purposes.
The device is equipped with installed system RouterOS L6, 16 GB built-in memory ECC RAM, color LCD touch screen, two removable (hotplug) power supplies for redundancy, smart card slot, microUSB, standard USB size, microSD and 2 M.2 slots for additional storage. Additionally, the device can handle more than 120 million packages per second.

When you install RouterOS software or turn on the router for the first time, there are different ways to connect to it:
- Access to command line interface (CLI) via Telnet, SSH, serial cable
- Access to the graphic interface (WebFig)
- Using the WinBox configuration tool (Windows application)
Each router is configured at the factory with IP address 192.168.88.1/24 on Ethernet port1. The default user name is admin without password. After logging in for the first time, please create a new user with the password in group "full". , log in again and delete the default administrator user.
