LigoDLB PRO LigoDLB PRO 5-90-20
LigoWave’s DLB PRO devices are made for professional wireless network providers. Rugged, IP-67 compliant enclosures and industrial grade mounting brackets make the devices ideal for outdoor deployments in any climate zone around the world. The integrated radio design occupies less tower space and eliminates RF cable / connector related failures and signal losses. A powerful hardware platform driven by a 720MHz CPU, coupled with generous memory resources, meets the demanding performance required for a high number of subscribers. The integrated surge protection greatly reduces the risk of failures in harsh climate conditions. The metal enclosure works as a back-lobe, rejecting noise when multiple base-stations are co-located on a single tower. The devices are ideal for deployments requiring superior quality and high performance in a point-to-multipoint application.
Powerful hardware platform
Based on a QCA 9557 chipset (720 MHz) and 128 MBytes of RAM/Flash memory the LigoDLB PRO series access points are an ideal solution for resource demanding installations with a high number of clients connected to a single AP. The 48V Gigabit Ethernet port (802.3af) allows utilizing the full capacity of the base-stations.
Integrated antenna design
The all-in-one design reduces the risk of cable failures and decreases the signal loss, as the radio is connected directly to the antenna. Such integration allows saving tower space and improves the cost which helps to speed up your ROI.
Improved noise immunity
Metal enclosure works as a deflector eliminating interference caused by backlobes and rejecting noise when multiple base-stations are co-located on a single tower. Apart from RF shielding the metal housing works as a heatsink, allowing better RF performance by dissipating the heat generated by the radio.
Solid mount
The LigoDLB PRO mounting bracket allows 15° down-tilt when doing antenna alignment. Supported pole diameters are from 25 mm (0.98 inch) to 75 mm (2.95 inches). All devices have an IP-67 enclosure and integrated surge suppression to provide best in class protection from harsh weather conditions in any climate zone.
OS
LigoDLB's operating system includes all the essential features for point-to-multipoint networks. User interface is built using HTML 5 technology with responsive design. Among the new features there are IPv6 bridge and router support, SSDP and Bonjour device discovery options, flexible traffic shaping and SSTP client. New generation DLB devices are backwards compatible with APC series from Deliberant even when using iPoll protocol. In order to achieve this a new firmware image has to be installed on all APC devices (v7.0 or later).
Hotspot scenario support
Starting from v7.52 Infinity firmware image can be used on a LigoDLB series devices for the outdoor hotspot and other related applications. After the firmware upgrade DLB devices are converted into access points for outdoor hotspot networks and will lose the functionality of point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connectivity.
