TP-LINK is also entering the growing PowerLine market with the TL-PA4010P starter kit. PowerLine adapters are special devices that connect computers, HD media players, TVs or game consoles to the network via electrical outlets. Availability is therefore available in every home and office thanks to ubiquitous electrical wiring, so no additional wiring, no antennas and no construction work is needed. This kit includes a complete solution for connecting two points. The TL-PA4010PKIT has transmission speeds of up to 600Mbps and provides 1 10/00Mbps Ethernet port on both sides to connect to a TV, game console, router or other RJ45 enabled device.
The TL-PA4010P allows you to reach speeds of up to 500Mbps with a range of up to 300 meters without complicated settings and other tasks required for the construction of e.g. Classic Ethernet. Two minutes are enough to establish a secure connection between the TL-PA4010P adapters. Press the pairing button on the card to create a secure network. Thanks to the advanced HomePlug AV technology, it provides stable and fast Internet access. Simply plug the adapters into electrical outlets, setup is a matter of minutes and you can start transmitting HD video or other demanding data.
This generation of TP-LINK adapters has a power-saving mode that reduces power consumption by up to 85%. In addition, it can detect whether the Ethernet connection is active and then switch to standby mode. Quality security is essential for network equipment. The card uses 128-bit AES encryption technology to ensure secure communication between the adapters.

In most cases TP-Link network adapters will pair automatically. If not, press the pairing buttons to pair them or use the tpPLC tool to do so. For detailed instructions, refer to [APP] or [tpPLC Utility].
You can press the pairing buttons to add another device or use the tpPLC tool.
For MAC 10.6 or higher, there also is a Powerline tool to manage the network adapters.
For Ubuntu or older versions of MAC there is no configuration tool for them, please configure the adapters in Windows. Or use the pairing buttons to pair them and use the web interface to configure the wireless network adapters.
That's not necessary. Just keep the way the existing adapters / extensions connect to the old router. If you want to change the wireless settings of the extension cables to be the same as those of the new router, press the WPS button on the router and then the Wi-Fi button on the card.
Yes, WPS is just one way of copying the SSID / WiFi name from the main router. If there is no WPS button on the router, we can manually copy the Wi-Fi settings.
