The MA5800-X15 unit stands out for its tremendous performance. The total switching capacity of the system reaches 7 Tbps, and the backplane architecture enables up to 200 Gbps on a single service slot. Compared to previous solutions, the platform offers eight times larger MAC and ARP address tables. This translates into seamless support for large numbers of users and advanced broadband services such as high-definition video and online gaming.
The modular design in an 11U chassis offers as many as 15 slots for service cards. This design allows operators to flexibly scale the capacity of the OLT terminal as demand and customer numbers increase. The device is compatible with a wide range of cards, including 16-port GPON cards and XG-PON cards. This makes it possible to freely combine different technologies in a single chassis and facilitates gradual network migration without the need to replace the entire system.
Network stability is crucial for any provider. That's why the standard configuration of the MA5800-X15 includes two H902MPLB control boards and two H901PILA power boards. All these key components operate in redundancy mode. Such a solution significantly increases the system's resilience to possible failures, which helps maintain continuity of service to subscribers and minimizes the risk of network interruptions.
