The MA5608T can be installed in residential areas, thus reducing the wear of ODN optical backbone cables. The device supports ADSL2+, SHDSL, POTS, GPON, 10G GPON and P2P access modes and provides Internet, voice and video services to subscribers. The MA5608T works as a CO OLT and supports multiple modes of network building and media diversification, guaranteeing access for all users - home, mobile and corporate. The terminal can be used as mini-OLT to support GPON and 10G GPON and as mini-DSLAM to support ADSL2+, VDSL2, SHDSL.
The terminal supports aggregation management and Plug-and-Play for remote sites. This eliminates the need for local software launch and OSS integration and facilitates management. The management of remote devices focuses on OLT through GE aggregation, so service configuration, software updates and maintenance of remote sites can be done via OLT, greatly simplifying the complexity of FTTx network control.
The fan tray on the left side of the MA5608T enclosure blows air to dissipate the heat. Cold air flows into the left side of the chassis and is then blown out by the fans to the right side of the plate.
