Huawei Echolife HG8247H is a GPON Optical Network Terminal (ONT), with CATV, USB, POTS and WiFi ports. It is an ideal solution for FTTH type networks. It has 4 x RJ45 1000Mbs 2 x RJ11 (2 x POTS), 1 x USB and high class B+ GPON ports. The product also allows for very comfortable wireless transmission using two antennas with 2 dBi gain. This modern ONU uses IEEE 802.11b/g/n WiFi technology and 2×2 MIMO. This allows to achieve 300 Mb/s wireless capacity. The terminal uses G.711A/u, G.729a/b and G.722 encoding / decoding as well as T.30, T.38 and G.711 for fax mode. It uses the SIP and H.248 protocols for audio transmission.

Huawei hg8247h router - versatile features

The offered Huawei client terminal is equipped with numerous management and routing functions. It supports multicast IGMP Snooping / proxy v2/v3, MDL Snooping v1/v2 routing via WiFi. It uses NAT / NAPT, PPPoE, DHCP and static IP. It can work according to IPv6 and use IPv4/IPv6 dual stack and DS-Lite. Huawei ONU Echolife HG8247H is also equipped with advanced QoS function and built-in SIP firewall. It also allows you to filter MAC / iP / URL. It provides dynamic power savings - a power saving indicator. You can link one account to two POTS ports that your device has. Additionally, the manufacturer has equipped the router with a smart parental control system.
