Aqara Hub M1S Gen 2 is a smart home control center that connects Zigbee devices to Wi-Fi networks. At the same time, it can manage and control smart scenes and conveniently control smart devices such as plug, switch, light bulb, blind, curtain and so on.
In addition to being a Zigbee 3.0 smart home center , the M1S Gen 2 has a built-in RGB light built with 18 powerful LEDs and a diffuser. It can be used as an alarm, accent or night light and has configurable brightness and color. Compared to previous HUBs, it has a full-featured light sensor that can be used in automation via the Aqara Home app.
With the latest Zigbee 3.0 protocol , the M1S Gen 2 supports all the latest Aqara devices, as well as existing ones. The newer technology improves the stability, compatibility and responsiveness of the hub and its slave devices, and focuses on local automation.
To ensure the best possible wireless connection of dozens of sensors and controllers, the Aqara Hub M1S Gen 2 is equipped with a more powerful 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi antenna. In addition, the M1S Gen 2 supports WPA3, the latest Wi-Fi security specification, which further protects your data.
Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, IFTTT and others are supported. Matter support will be available as an OTA update for Aqara hubs after the official release of the Matter specification.
Forget about manually turning devices on and off. Now you can do it automatically using the Aqara Hub M1S Gen 2, Aqara sensors and controllers, and the Aqara Home app. And even if your Internet connection is interrupted, local automation will still work.
