It's no secret that Xiaomi has been doing very well in our market for a long time, and the growth and development of this Chinese giant in Europe seems unstoppable. Despite entering the podium and becoming the third largest smartphone manufacturer on the old continent, Xiaomi does not intend to slow down at all. The company is no longer focusing only on the development of mobile devices, but on extending its portfolio of Xiaomi with a variety of electronic devices.
Xiaomi is just officially entering the PC monitor market with two really interesting novelties. The first one is very wide and curved, while the second is lighter and has more standard proportions. Today we will look at the first novelty - the Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming monitor. The monitor, thanks to its revolutionary quality/price ratio, will certainly become a part of those devices that increase the company's market share. In short, the 34" Curved Gaming Monitor is designed for PCs and MACs and has WQHD resolution, 1500R curvature and 144Hz refresh rate. Such a monitor without a doubt will catch a gamer's eyes, but the manufacturer has not forgotten about people who do not have too much in common with games.

What attracts attention at first glance is the design, the design is elegant and modern and the frames are really thin - about 2 mm on three sides. Both the desk stand and the lower part of the monitor has a magnetic cover inside, where you can hide all the cables needed to operate the monitor. Furthermore, Mi Curved Gaming 34 is compatible with the Vesa 100 standard, which allows the monitor to be mounted on the wall.
The biggest aspect with this monitor is definitely its curvature, your field of view is surrounded by a large curvature of 1500R. This design provides an immersive experience, surrounded by the screen. The curved screen creates a smaller visual angle so that every point on the screen is almost equally distant from the eyes, reducing visual distortion and providing a more realistic view of every corner.
In terms of ports, the monitor offers 4 input ports - two HDM 2.0 and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and one audio jack to connect speakers (despite the audio jack, the monitor has no built-in speakers). The monitor itself unfortunately does not have a USB port. Buttons for OSD control are located at the back of the monitor, making the management itself very simple and intuitive.

When it come to the specifications, the new Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34 is equipped with a WQHD 21:9 display that provides a 30% wider view than an average 16:9 FULL HD monitor. The screen is curved with a 1500R radius and has a screen resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels (2K) and is capable of covering 121% of SRGB colours and 85% of NTSC colour gamut. The most important and interesting factor for players is the refresh rate. The monitor has a 144Hz refresh rate at 4ms response time with compatible AMD Free-Sync. These two technologies will allow us to enjoy smoother and more perfect animation during dynamic gaming.

No doubt Xiaomi Mi Curved Gaming is designed for players who appreciate relatively high performance, excellent resolution and dynamic gameplay. But it will also work well in office spaces and for design work, the monitor has three display modes, thanks to which we can divide the screen into left and right and image in image. In this case you will feel the lack of USB port and integrated speakers, but there is no doubt that Xiaomi Mi Gaming 34 will become a reference point in its price range.
