Totolink 3002ru - updated by TFTP
In this tutorial you will learn step by step how to upgrade your Totolink 3002ru router's software using the TFTP protocol.

Download the required software files.
- choose Totolink 3002ru (3)
- we download the appropriate software file. In our case, it is TOTOLINK-PWBATNA-TR069-DHCP43-A3002RU-V1-V1.0.0-B20190524.1051.web (4), because we want to activate the TR069-DHCP43 option.
- The file is saved e.g. on your desktop for quick access to the downloaded software.
Connect our computer to the LAN port of the Totolink 3002ru router and set the fixed IP address on the network card (192.168.1.10)
Reset procedure for Totolink 3002ru router (Service mode)
(1) Hold down the RST button.
(2) Set the power switch to ON
(3) Connect the power cord
(4) Hold the RST button for about 10 seconds. When the LAN diodes light up, release the RST button.
Use of TFTP
- open our TFTP application and select 192.168.1.10 in the "Server interface".
Router upgrade
(1) Select tab
Tftp Client
(2) In the
Host field, enter the address 192.168.1.6.
(3) In the
Local File field, select the file previously downloaded from
www.batna24.com/pl.
(4) Click
Put and trigger the upload process.
After pressing Put we see block by block how the software file is uploaded to our router.
Correct upload of software
- after successful data transfer, the router update process takes place, which takes about a minute (you can watch the LAN diodes to determine if the update is complete)
After completing the router update, we have to reset the device to the default settings by holding the RST button for about 5 seconds.
FTP update successfully completed!
Important!
I. The software file and the tftpd32.exe file must be in the same folder!
II. Do not turn off the power during the upgrade process to avoid damaging the equipment!
