Ubiquiti USW-48-POE | Switch | UniFi, 48x RJ45 1000Mb/s, 32x PoE+, 4x SFP

EN
The USW-48-PoE (UniFi switch GEN2) is a configurable Gigabit Layer 2 switch with 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports, including 32 802.3at PoE auto-sensing ports and 4 SFP ports, that provides Gigabit PoE links to RJ45 Ethernet devices and Gigabit fiber uplink options to enterprise networks. The USW-48-PoE features a 1.3-inch LCM touchscreen providing status information. The compact, fanless design with a depth of 7.9" allows for quick and easy installation of the unit in a SOHO rack.
Managed and configured by the UniFi Network Controller with support for UniFi mobile apps, the USW-48-POE switch offers a broad suite of advanced Layer 2 switching protocols and features, including mode (switching, mirroring or aggregate) per port. The UniFi Network Controller and mobile app allow administrators to configure and monitor virtually all switch functions in a graphical user interface from anywhere.
UniFi is rapidly evolving to a full SDN (Software-Defined Networking) solution with seamless integration of high-performance switching.

A switch is a device that connects several so-called microsegments in one network. It is equipped with ports, or connectors. Each port can be connected to one device. Switches can also be connected together to increase the number of possible connections and create LANs.
It is standard 19" wide cabinets, racks and industrial equipment (48.26 cm). Rack cabinets are mainly used in computer server rooms, power industry, and recording studios.
PoE, or Power over Ethernet, is the name of a number of methods that allow to power network equipment while simultaneously transmitting data via twisted-pair cable.
