MIMOSA B5 is, without a doubt, the easiest to use and the highest bandwidth radio link of short and medium range for unlicensed 5GHz band. It is ideal for collocation applications, connecting subnetworks or buildings.
The carrier-class design and IP67 protection allow the use of the B5 and twin B5c even in the harshest environmental conditions.
A typical backhaul solution wastes a lot of frequency resources with each subsequent connection and additionally affects already working connections. The unique, high-precision GPS synchronization technology allows the B5 and B5c models to use the same channel repeatedly in the network and work seamlessly on up to 4 connections.
An unlicensed band can be unpredictable. With this in mind, MIMOSA has developed a unique multi-channel transmission and auto-regulation technology to protect the link from interference. This technology, called Auto-everything, implemented in the B5 and B5c models uses two independent radio channels and continuously monitors their performance. In addition, B5 also collects information from the remaining frequencies, especially their noise, to switch to the next least noise in case of deterioration in the current range. It looks like two intelligent connections in one.
B5 and B5c also offer extended capacity control. Dynamic mode automatically adjusts the connection to the traffic demand while maintaining very low latency ~1ms for sensitive services such as voice and video. The 50/50 and 72/25 manual modes allow for GPS synchronization and frequency collocation.
Immediately after installation, the link can be monitored via the free MIMOSA Cloud service. Thanks to the wide range of data collection and analysis, control over the link and diagnosing potential problems has never been easier.
