The device also features 5 Gigabit Ethernet PoE ports, making it easy to integrate into existing network infrastructures and to easily connect additional devices without the need for additional power.
The U6-IW access point provides guest traffic isolation features to ensure optimal security and minimize the risk of disruption to the corporate network. Advanced technologies, such as full 4x4 MIMO with 160 MHz channels, enable fast and stable connections, which is crucial for processing large amounts of data. In addition, it supports advanced WPA-PSK, WPA-Enterprise (WPA/WPA2/WPA3) encryption protocols, ensuring effective protection of data transmitted over the network.
The U6-IW access point is controlled via the UniFi OS Console application (version 6.4.52 and later), which enables easy configuration and comprehensive network management via a web interface WWW. With UniFi OS Console, the need for physical controllers is eliminated, reducing costs and increasing flexibility in network management. The program is free and available for various platforms, allowing remote management of multiple locations.
