EdgePoint™ offers an innovative combination of high routing performance, fiber optic backhaul capabilities and the convenience of passive PoE operation.
EdgePoint is equipped with FiberProtect technology, which significantly reduces failures related to electrostatic discharges (ESD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI). It significantly improves data signal integrity and strengthens wired data back-up connections to a single fiber optic cable for long-distance connectivity.
EdgePoint is the first application-specific designed WISP control point. EdgePoint combines advanced EdgeMAX® routing capabilities with fiber optic backhaul and universal powering capabilities.
A single, compact system eliminates clutter, expensive cabinets, external installations and excessive maintenance.

EP-S16 is set to DHCP by default, so it will try to get an IP address automatically. If this fails, it will use the default backup IP address, 192.168.1.2
Use one of the following methods:
- Configure the DHCP server to give a specific IP address to EP-S16 based on the MAC address.
- Allow EP-S16 to get an IP address and then check the DHCP server. Use the UBNT Discovery Tool to check which IP address has been assigned.
1. Start a web browser. Enter the appropriate IP address in the address field. Press Enter
2. The login screen will appear. Enter Ubnt in the User name and password field. Click Sign In.
