The TP-Link TL-SL2428P PoE Smart Switch is equipped with 24 RJ45 10/100MB/s ports, 4 10/100/1000MB/s ports and 2 Gigabit SFP combo slots. All 24 RJ 45 10/100MB/s ports support 802.3at/af (PoE+) standards with a total PoE power budget of 250W. The switch provides high performance, enterprise-level OoS. The switching backbone network throughput is 12.8 GB/s and the packet forwarding rate is 9.52 ml packets per second.
TL-SL2428P exhibits a high level of network security through port protection by IP/IPv6-MAC binding , DoS protection. ACLs differentiate access to certain corporate services; clients supporting 802.1x are authenticated by a RADIUS server, clients without 802.1x access certain resources through a guest VLAN.
To integrate voice, data, and video services into a single network, the switch applies extensive QoS policies. Administrators can prioritize traffic based on various measures, including port priority, 802.1P priority, and DSCP priority, to ensure that voice and video are always clear, smooth, and interrupt-free. When combined with the voice VLAN that the switch supports, voice applications will run much more smoothly.
The TL-SL2428P supports 24 IEEE 802.3af/at compliant PoE ports and has a total power capacity of 250W to power any 802.3af/at compliant power device. The TL-SL2428P is an efficient and cost-effective choice for working with wireless access points, surveillance cameras, IP phones and other PoE-enabled devices. All of this means that there is no need for cables. The TL-SL2428P is ideally suited for the flexible use of PoE to deploy wireless or IP-based network surveillance cameras.
