The Easy Smart Switch TL-SG1016DE has easy-to-use second layer management functions such as port mirroring, loop prevention and port status diagnostics. With these features, the TL-SG1016DE identifies and locates problems that may occur in the network. Support for QoS based on ports or 802.1p tagging can be used by administrators to ensure smooth voice or video transmission. Whereas support for VLAN based on ports, tagging and TU (easy uplin port configuration) increases network performance and security. The TL-SG1016DE managed switch provides much more functionality than unmanaged switches and is a cost-effective, easy-to-use solution for your network.

Traditional network switches consume a significant amount of power for the ports even when connected devices are switched off, while the TL-SG1016DE automatically detects the connection status of each port, reducing the power consumption of inactive ports.

The use of shorter cables should theoretically reduce energy consumption due to lower energy losses over their length. However, most devices consume the same amount of energy, regardless of the cable length. The TL-SG1016DE analyzes the length of the cables connected to it and adjusts the amount of energy used by the ports accordingly.
