The managed TP-LINK JetStream T2600G-28SQ switch allows to create a stable network environment and enjoy fast connections with 24 Gigabit SFP slots, 4 10/100/1000 Mb/s RJ45 ports and 4 10 G SFP+ slots. The switch has security features such as IP-MAC-Port binding, port protection, Storm Control and DHCP Snooping to protect against ARP or broadcast storm attacks. It also provides define the most common DoS attacks, providing better than ever protection against unwanted attacks. The use of access control lists (ACL, L2 to L4) blocks access to certain network resources. Refusal to forward packets can be set for specific source or destination MAC addresses, IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports and even VLAN identifiers. The JetStream T2600G-28SQ managed switch also uses 802.1X encryption, in combination with RADIUS/Tacs+ server functions, to authenticate users seeking to access the network.
The JetStorm T2600G-28SQ manageable switch supports Layer 2 switch functions, i.e. VLAN tagging (802.1Q), Port Mirroring, STP/ RSTP/MSTP, LACP, and data flow function (802.3x). It also supports advanced network security features such as loopback detection, cable diagnostics and IGMP Snooping. IGMP snooping technology provides the ability to switch multicast frames for selected users only, while IGMP throttling & filtering restricts user access to port level resources. The T2600G-28SQ also supports static Layer 2+ routing, which allows for easy network segmentation and increases network resource efficiency.
OAM 802.3ah, DDM, sFlow, QinQ, ID Insertion PPPoE L2TP, IGMP authentication and more, with these features, the T2600-28SQ is ideal for ISPs. DLDP (device connection detection) and OAM 802.3ah function will provide easier network surveillance and management. DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring) function will be used to view the status of SFP modules connected to the switch and to configure alarm, warning, temperature threshold, voltage and power TX and Rx settings.
The T2600G-28SQ supports many IPv6 features, including dual stack IPv4/IPv6, MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, DHCPv6 Snooping, IPv6 interface, PMTU Discovery and IPv6 Neighbor Discovery, so that the configured network fully meets NGN requirements and no replacement of hardware will be necessary. The switch is extremely easy to use and manage, there are various ways to manage the device, e.g. through an intuitive web browser GUI (GUI) or command line interface (CLI), and with SSL or SSH you can be sure that our encryption is protected.
