TP-Link RE200 is a mesh WiFi range extender, expanding wireless network coverage with Wi-Fi 11AC technology. The Wi-Fi repeater from TP-Link is compatible with all Wi-Fi routers and allows you to create a dual-band network that will cover the entire area of your home or office.
With the TP-Link Wi-Fi signal amplifier you'll get rid of "dead zones" and enjoy the perfect wireless connection throughout your home or office. The two Wi-Fi bands, with a total bandwidth of 750 Mbps in the extended network, will cover an area of 185 m2 and allow you to enjoy fast connections, which means transmission of HD videos without interference, playing online without problems, etc.
You only need to press the WPS button on the router and the Range Extender button on the amplifier in any order. After connecting to the router you can move the RE200 amplifier to any place within the range of the wireless network, without the need to reconfigure it. The Wi-Fi amplifier from TP-Link works with all routers and access points, so it provides a stable connection in two wireless bands.
The TP-Link signal converter can also function as wireless adapter to media players such as TVs, consoles, or blue-ray players with Internet access and allows to connect to the wireless network via Ethernet cable. The RE200 amplifier then simultaneously provides the network to the devices connected via cable and wireless devices within Wi-Fi range.

Yes, all range extenders from TP-Link are compatible with routers from other manufacturers.
Yes, it is recommended to have one or two range extenders in order to improve efficiency. If you have more than one range extender, make sure that they connect directly to the main router in the house.
No, the WiFi password is directly connected with the router settings. If you want to change the password you have to do it from a configuration panel of your router/access point.
Yes, every time the router or access point settings change you also have to reconfigure the TP-Link RE200.
Yes, you can change it anytime on the configuration panel of the range extender or by using the Tether app, available on iOS and Android devices.
No, all settings will be saved in the device's memory, a simple reset will not delete those settings so there's no need to reconfigure it.
