MicroTik wAP Access Point

Mikrotik Routerboard RBwAP2nD wAP (wall AP) is a small weatherproof wireless access point for mobile devices, ideal for installation outside the house, in the garden, on the porch or anywhere else where you need wireless internet access from your phone or computer. The device is equipped with Mikrotik RouterOS level 4 firmware.

The device has one 10/100 Ethernet port and can be wall-mounted to provide Internet access anywhere. Simple and elegant design, it is available in two colors - black and white. The device operates in 802.11b/g/n wireless network standards. It can be powered via PoE 802.3af/at port. It has a built-in antenna with 2dBi gain.

Installation of Mikrotik WAP

It is waterproof and can be mounted to any wall from inside the enclosure - so that it cannot be easily disconnected from the mount. The cover can also be secured with a special screw, which can only be opened by the owner. It is also possible to lead the Ethernet cable directly behind the device to the wall, there is a special hole in the back of the enclosure. In this way the unit does not attract attention and blends in with the surroundings.
