The MA5608T is a Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) integrated optical access device. They are the industry's first optical line terminals (OLTs) to combine ultra-high aggregation and switching capabilities, supporting 3.2T bandwidth, 960G switching capacity, 512,000 MAC addresses, 44-channel 10 GE access or 768 GE ports.
The MA5608T modular platform is designed for mounting in a standard 19" rack with a height of 2U. This modification can be called universal, as it allows the installation of various service cards as needed. Thus, this equipment makes it possible to provide users with today's popular multi-service communication services.
Huawei MA5608T is used to build a passive GPON/ EPON optical network. It has 2 slots. Two GPON cards can be installed, each with 16 PON ports. Possible number of subscribers: GPON - 4096 or EPON - 1024. It is very important that the software of this modification is fully compatible with the software of other models in the series.
